The Italian club’s sporting director Piero Ausilio met his Barcelona counterpart Ariedo Braida for dinner on Monday evening and discussed Iniesta.

The Algeria international has asked to leave Leicester City and, though Arsenal and Monaco have been linked with his signature, Conte is hopeful he may be able to steal in and get his man.

MAN UTD WON'T BUDGE ON PERISIC

Ivan Perisic Inter Manchester United will not increase their €30 million (£26.4m) for Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic and are confident of concluding a deal, according to Calciomercato.com.

Inter are holding out for €50m (£44m) for the Croatian, but United have no plans to move from their original offer, with the Italian club needing to raise €30m by the end of June to meet Financial Fair Play regulations.

 JUVE JOIN BELLERIN HUNT

Juventus are the latest side to show an interest in Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, reports Tuttosport.
The Serie A champions are exploring the possibility of putting a double deal in place for the Spanish defender and goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

MAN UTD HAVE RONALDO DOUBTS

Cristiano Ronaldo Real Madrid

Manchester United are reluctant to try to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, according to the Daily Express.
The 32-year-old is said to be eager to leave Real Madrid, but Jose Mourinho's side have doubts about entering the race to sign their former player. United fear that Ronaldo's alleged desire to leave could be merely a way to extract a better deal from Madrid, and therefore do not want to spend the summer negotiating for a player they can never sign.
